Dr. Anushruti’s words on Danphe Care

I believe, when someone solemnly realizes a way to make a difference with their presence, then that someone is unstoppable. I, being part of an incredible organization, the Daphe care that has been relentless to make a difference in the Health care sector, has given me the exact experience. Honestly, I had been underestimating the potency of telemedicine until I got an opportunity for my firsthand experience as a doctor on the hotline and teleconsultation service which has given me an ample amount of clarity about Telemedicine. We are here for the patient, to help them out in their most desperate time within a single phone call or a text message which is something that our patients have never taken for granted. There’s no doubt that we are evolving to bring the best out of technologies for a better service.

Though it has been my few months in this service, I have had a handful of experiences attending patients via our hotline. One day, I got a call from one of the remote areas of Nepal. Over the phone, was an old yet humble voice asking me about Covid-19 symptoms, treatment, and vaccination. According to the patient, he was already suffering from chronic diseases like Hypertension and Diabetes. He had also undergone open-heart surgery a few years ago. I was more than happy to help him out with all of the queries he had. While we were talking, I came to know that he stays alone. All of his children were overseas, struggling to earn a living. It was daunting to realize, this is just a tip of an iceberg as there are a lot of helpless old men and women, who are somewhere alone, struggling with their health and yearning for support. The vivid memory of the patient showering me with his blessings when I tried to help him with whatever I had at hand has inspired me to bring the best out of me for my patients.

Hence, the amalgam of Information Technology and Medicine has startled me with their power. No wonder, I feel proud to be part of this emerging yet successful organization.
