A clinical research is a research done on human subjects which is aimed to  address basic questions about potential medications, vaccines or diagnostic procedures, or new approaches to use proven therapies. In order to decide if experimental drugs, diagnostics or treatments are safe and effective, clinical trials are used. The best and easiest way to discover drugs that benefit patients is by closely conducted clinical trials. After researchers investigate novel treatments or methods in the laboratory and in animal experiments in an investigational way, those with the most promising possibilities are applied to human clinical trials.
